Hotshot Sync Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Hüseyin Onur Tercan, trading as Hotshot Interactive ("we", "us"), Republic of Türkiye. They cover Hotshot Sync, the hosted service that connects your Hotshot Orchestrator devices (the "service"). The app itself is covered by the End-User Licence Agreement; personal data by the Privacy Policy. By creating an account you accept these terms.

1. Your account

• You need a Hotshot account, signed in by e-mail code or through Firebase Authentication. Give a real e-mail address you control and keep access to it.
• You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent where you live if higher.
• One account belongs to one person. A team or a company uses one account per member.
• You are responsible for the devices you approve into your space and the access you give them (View, Control, Full). A device with Control can run agents on your other devices.
• Tell us at security@hotshotinteractive.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

2. What the service does

The service lets your devices find each other, approve each other and exchange end-to-end encrypted frames. We cannot read what your devices send each other, so we cannot recover it, check it or restore it for you. If you lose all your devices, your space's history is gone; you can start a new space.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
• gain access to devices or accounts that are not yours, or to control another person's computer without their consent;
• send malware, spam, or traffic meant to overload or probe the service;
• get around plan limits, rate limits or a suspension, or resell the service;
• run AI agents in a way that breaks the terms of the AI provider (for example, sharing one subscription among several people or rotating accounts to escape limits).

We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. We will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.

4. Plans and the free beta

• Beta: during the beta the service is free, with up to 10 devices per account. We may change the beta's limits or end it; we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app or by e-mail before the beta ends or before a paid plan is required to keep using a feature you use.

Paid plans do not exist yet; these terms will be updated before they do.

5. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but it is offered without a service-level agreement. It may be interrupted for maintenance, by our providers (Cloudflare, Google) or by events outside our control. Everything on a single device keeps working without the service. You can also run your own server (hotshot-relay, MIT licence) instead.

We may change the service, for example to update the protocol. Older app versions may stop connecting after a change; the app updates itself.

6. Ending the service

• You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Hotshot Sync → Delete account. Your account data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
• We may close an account that breaks these terms (section 3), or that has not been used for [PLACEHOLDER: 24] months after warning you by e-mail at least 30 days before.
• If we stop offering the service, we will give at least 90 days' notice and refund any prepaid amount for the time after it stops.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

• the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or profits, or for what agents or devices in your space do;
• our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, or [PLACEHOLDER: an amount, e.g. 100 US dollars] if that is more.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for gross negligence or intent under Turkish Code of Obligations art. 115), or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

8. Changes to these terms

We will tell you about material changes in the app or by e-mail at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then; using the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes go to the courts and execution offices of [PLACEHOLDER: city, to be confirmed by the lawyer]. Consumers keep the right to use consumer arbitration committees and courts where they live, and the protection of their local mandatory law.
