Agents on it get the MCP server `sqlite` ([mcp-server-sqlite](https://pypi.org/project/mcp-server-sqlite/) 2025.4.25, the reference server from the Model Context Protocol project), which can: - list the tables and describe a table's columns; - run `SELECT` queries; - run `INSERT`, `UPDATE` and `DELETE`, and create tables. Agents take the `sqlite:migrate` lock before changing the schema, so two agents do not change it at once. ## What Set up installs `mcp-server-sqlite` from PyPI, pinned to 2025.4.25, run with the app's own `uv`. Nothing else is downloaded and nothing is compiled. ## What it may do It reads and writes the database file you choose. The server has no read-only mode: back the file up before letting agents change it.
